About the Journal

African Journal of Green Engineering and Energy Research (AJGEER) is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal that presents inter- and multi-disciplinary information on the practice and advancing cutting-edge research in green and sustainable development of research areas within and allied to chemical engineering, water engineering, environmental engineering and renewable energy. AJGEER presents an international forum interested in building capacity and expanding access to significant contributions from Africa’s engineering and energy research. The journal aims to promote original and demanding research results with engineering and technological solutions that address challenges and prospects in engineering education, water-energy nexus systems, renewable energy, a safe environment, and a circular economy. Additional core research areas of the journal include but are not limited to green engineering, thermodynamics, green hydrogen, water and wastewater treatment technologies, computational modelling, process optimisation, catalysis, magnetic nanotechnology and energy research, which will inspire and inform decision-making for sustainable development actions.
