The Gastroenterology Foundation of Sub-Saharan Africa

Abstract

The Gastroenterology Foundation of Sub-Saharan Africa was established in 2006 with the aim of contributing towards the continuing medical education of medical and surgical Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists. Shortly after the inauguration of the Foundation, our focus turned to include all fellows training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology including medical, surgical and paediatric fellows.

In addition, we encourage and contribute to the funding of research in these fields.
